The providers ("we", "us", "our") of the service provided by this web site ("Service") are not responsible for any user-generated content and accounts. Content submitted express the views of their author only.
This Service is only available to users who are at least 13 years old. If you are younger than this, please do not register for this Service. If you register for this Service, you represent that you are this age or older.
All content you submit, upload, or otherwise make available to the Service ("Content") may be reviewed by staff members. All Content you submit or upload may be sent to third-party verification services (including, but not limited to, spam prevention services). Do not submit any Content that you consider to be private or confidential.
You agree to not use the Service to submit or link to any Content which is defamatory, abusive, hateful, threatening, spam or spam-like, likely to offend, contains adult or objectionable content, contains personal information of others, risks copyright infringement, encourages unlawful activity, or otherwise violates any laws. We may remove or modify any Content submitted at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Requests for Content to be removed or modified will be undertaken only at our discretion. We may terminate your access to all or any part of the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice.
You are granting us with a non-exclusive, permanent, irrevocable, unlimited license to use, publish, or re-publish your Content in connection with the Service. You retain copyright over the Content.

Forum Rules
The following Rules apply to every section of the Paranormal.com forum. By using the Paranormal.com forum, and by registering as a Member of Paranormal.com, you agree to and accept these Rules. Each sub-forum or topic may have additional rules, so please read all information provided in the individual areas.
Paranormal.com’s goal in developing these Rules is to provide a safe and friendly environment to promote discussion and investigation, and to prevent disruption of this environment. Paranormal.com’s management will determine if any action by a website visitor or Member is disruptive to the environment, and will act accordingly, using their judgment to determine the consequences, and will take appropriate action, and inform the website user of their decision.
1. Membership
- Paranormal.com is a privately-owned forum, and as such, reserves the right to accept or decline any Membership application at our discretion. No individual is guaranteed Membership acceptance.
- No Member is guaranteed continuation of Membership. Violation of the Rules will result in either a warning or a ban, depending on the severity of the violation. Bans may be temporary or permanent, at the sole discretion of the staff at Paranormal.com.
- Under no condition will Membership payments be refunded, in whole or in part.
- You may only have one account at Paranormal.com.
- If your Membership has been revoked, you may not register another account in order to circumvent the restriction, or request existing Members to post on your behalf.
- Never provide your username or password to anyone else, or allow others to use your Member account.
2. No SPAMMING
Do not SPAM the forums in any way.
Common forms of forum spam include, but are not limited to:
- Advertising: Do not use any forum area to advertise a product, website, or service, unless designated and allowed by Paranormal.com. This includes affiliate links in both posts and signatures.
- Linking to Your External Business: Do not promote or link to your website(s), blog, service, or company in any of the discussion forums or your Member signature. If a Member is looking for a certain type of product or service that you provide, you can offer your assistance through sending a personal message (private Conversation).
- Recruitment: Do not recruit or invite Members to join other sites, groups, services, or forums. Do not ask Members to take part in off-site surveys, petitions, contests, campaigns, or fundraisers.
- Related Website/Forum Threads: Do not promote other websites or forums that resemble Paranormal.com in either structure or content in any of the discussion forums or your Member signature. This includes starting threads with questions such as “What other paranormal forums are there?” Such threads will be closed.
- Cross-Posting: Do not cross-post the same content across multiple threads or sections, and do not cut and paste it, or change it slightly and post it.
- Thread Bumping: Do not post bump messages solely to return a thread to the top of the topic index.
- Personal Messages: Only reply to a personal message (Conversation) sent to you, or as requested in a post.
3. Content
All content added to Paranormal.com must be in the spirit of keeping the website safe and friendly, creating a civil environment where people can feel safe to share information and learn.
- English only is to be used in all posts and signatures.
- Create threads in the proper forum.
- No hijacking of threads with posts that are either off-topic or designed to draw attention away from what is being discussed.
- No offensive content that is excessively violent; racist; sexually explicit (X-Rated); contains images of violence, death, gore, criminal behavior; or otherwise offensive in nature will be tolerated.
- No violation of a person’s privacy will be tolerated. Do not post information that is personal and private without the person’s permission, unless there is criminal activity for which you can provide evidence. Never post personal contact details of anyone.
- No illegal material is to be posted that violates any law or advocates illegal activities, or is plagiarized or copyrighted. This includes embedded videos.
- No knowingly or intentionally false information should be included in any post, signature, or Member profile.
- No fundraising or persuasive pleas should be included in posts or signatures, which includes any ploys to elicit sympathy for financial gain.
- No redistribution of Paranormal.com content is allowed. You may not use, reproduce or distribute any forum topics or posted content anywhere other than on Paranormal.com.
4. Etiquette
Please be civil and courteous to other Members at all times in the interest of maintaining constructive and friendly discussions.
- Show Respect: Do not be rude, unpleasant, insulting, offensive, snide, obnoxious, abusive, or disrespectful towards other Members. Instead, always be polite and courteous.
- No Personal Attacks or Forum Warfare: Personal attacks on other Members will not be tolerated. Do not harass, defame, threaten, bully, or victimize any other Member. Counter the point being presented, instead of attacking the person presenting the point. And, do so respectfully and thoughtfully. Do not attack or scrutinize another Members intelligence, education, mental status, personal background, spelling, grammar, or punctuation. Forum warfare can constitute a prolonged series of disruptive confrontations between specific groups of Members with opposing beliefs or views, with each side accusing the other of being the aggressor, and baiting each other on a regular basis. Forum warfare will not be tolerated.
- Do Not Shout: Writing in all uppercase letters is considered shouting, and should not be used.
- No Trolling or Flamebaiting: Trolling is the act of posting intentionally false, or controversial, or offensive comments with the intention to provoke other Members, to start arguments, and generally to annoy and disrupt. Flamebaiting is the act of taunting or baiting another Member into an argument. Neither trolling nor flamebaiting will be tolerated.
- No Profanity, Defamation, Racism, or Hate Speech: Profanity and crude language will not be tolerated, nor will comments meant to harm any specific race, religion, country, gender, individual, community, or other group.
- No Rule Quoting to Other Members: If you believe the Rules have been broken, please report the incident to the Moderator. Do not quote the Rules to the other Member. It is the Moderator’s responsibility to determine if an infraction has occurred.
5. Moderators
The Moderators assure that everyone can have a constructive and pleasant experience on Paranormal.com. It is the sole responsibility of the Moderators to determine if any posted information is inappropriate, offensive, against the Rules, or intentionally disruptive, and to take the appropriate Action to remedy the situation. Remediation could include no action, a Member being warned, temporarily banned from the website, or permanently banned from the Website. Each incident is decided on a case-by-case basis, and is dependent on the nature and severity of the violation, and previous history of the offender.
- Abuse: Any abuse toward any Moderator or other staff of Paranormal.com will result in immediate Membership revocation. You agree not to attack, harass, bully, defame, threaten, or become abusive towards any Moderator or other staff member of Paranormal.com, either here on this website, or off-site.
- Compliance: If asked to stop doing something a Moderator deems to be in violation of the Rules, or disruptive to the website, you agree to cooperate with the Moderator’s request.
- Disagreement: Members may at times disagree with the decisions and/or actions of the Moderators. These disagreements are not to be aired within the forums. Rather, if a disagreement arises, it should be expressed in a private message (private Conversation) to the Moderator.
- Member Disputes: The Moderators do not get involved in Member disputes. Resolve these disputes with the other Member. However, if you believe another Member has violated the Rules, report this incident to the Moderator.
- Reporting Violations: The proper way to report something that you believe is a violation of the Rules is to send a private Conversation to the Moderator(s).
Paranormal.com reserves the right to modify these Rules at any time without prior notification.
